My name is Jade and I'm a passionate pet lover with years of experience in animal care. I am 25 years old, hold a qualification in Animal Management and Animal Care. I have always been fascinated by animals and have dedicated my life to providing exceptional care for pets of all kinds.

With my love for animals, I pursued various certifications to enhance my skills in pet care. I am proud to hold a Pet First Aid certificate, as well as pet sitting and pet walking certificates. I believe that being prepared and knowledgeable about pet health and safety is crucial in providing the best care possible.

I have a lot of experience when it comes to caring for anxious pets, reactive dogs and pets that require medication. I always aim to provide a calm and patient atmosphere for all pets, and I am more than happy to spend extra time building trust and allowing a pet to become familiar with me without applying additional pressure. 

​

I also understand how important a pets routine can be to them, particularly when their owners are away and I follow the regular feeding, walking, medication, play and bedtime routines to the best of my ability so their time with me is as comfortable and familiar as possible. 

​

Owners are always encouraged to tell me about their pet's quirks, likes and dislikes - such as their favourite walking spot, a way they like their food displayed or prepared or a toy they may refuse to sleep without. These small details make a big difference. 

​

My experiences and specialties extend beyond qualifications, as I am a lifelong pet owner myself and currently have two wonderful Golden Retrievers, who are a beloved part of our family. Over the years I have owned and cared for rats, hamsters, rabbits and numerous fish, which gives me a first-hand experience with animals who may be seen as a little different in comparison to dogs.

 

In addition to my professional experience, I also have personal experience as a pet owner. I have two lovely Golden Retrievers of my own, whom I adore and cherish, and I have also owned 4 rats, 2 hamsters, rabbits and numerous cats in the past. I understand the importance of pets in our lives and the bond we share with them.

Being a pet owner myself I understand how difficult it can feel to leave an animal in someone else's care. Pets are family members, and I want owners to feel confident that their animals are being treated with the same love and attention that I would want for my own. ​When you entrust your beloved pets to my care, you can rest assured that they will receive the highest level of care and attention. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for your pets, ensuring that they are happy and well-cared for in your absence. Additionally, I send regular messages, pictures and video updates regarding your pets while you are away, and even on the day to day walks with my walking clients.
